Mogadishu-Somalia 12-05-2021: Abdisalan Abdulle Ali is a devoted Somali civil servant who has dedicated over 15 years of his life to serving the Somali government. His unwavering patriotism and tireless commitment have played a vital role in strengthening governance, upholding law and order, and supporting the ongoing fight against terrorism.
Abdisalan began his career during one of the most challenging periods in Somalia’s history, a time when civil servants worked without proper offices, salaries, or resources. Despite these difficulties, he remained steadfast in his mission to support the government and its institutions. Throughout his career, he has served under four Somali Prime Ministers: Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke, Hassan Ali Kheyre, Mohamed Hussein Roble, and the current Prime Minister, Hamsa Abdi Barre. He currently holds a senior position in the Human Resource Management (HRM) department at the Office of the Prime Minister.
Beyond his administrative responsibilities, Abdisalan is known for his active support of the Somali National Army (SNA) in the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorist group. He frequently visits soldiers on the front lines, offering encouragement and boosting morale. “Our soldiers are the backbone of our nation’s security,” Abdisalan says. “I stand with them not only as a government official but as a Somali patriot who believes in the future of our country.”
“Truly, making the decision to take part in the reconstruction and state-building of my country means a great deal to me. I’m proud of how far we’ve come today. I urge Somali youth to stand by their government.
