President Farmaajo has met the traditional elders of Nugal region in Puntland.
Invited by the elders led by Islaam Iise Islaan Mohamed and Sultan Sa’id Mohamed Garase, the meeting took place in Hidde Raac centre.
Speaking at the occasion, the President thanked the elders for his welcoming.
“The tradition has essential role in the peace-rebuilding process and good governance,” he said – adding that the elders have been centre for co-existence in this day and age.
The president is also expected to pay a visit to some other districts and meet the civil society.
