The newly appointed foreign minister, Ahmed Iise Awad has just arrived in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
He is warmly received by the senior government official including ministers, MPs and the governor of Benadir region.
He thanked the government for his welcoming – and urged them to help him achieve his duty.
He also pledged to do more successfully.
Its expected him to be sworn in office soon after Somali’s PM, Hassan Ali Khaire appointed him alongside the interior and industry and commerce ministers.
