UNSOM Somalia (UNSOM) calls for all parties and individuals to work together to ensure that the process of the Somali people is moving forward to become unlawful. Freedom of choice elections.
“While this is the first of a series of national elections in the country – next year and national level in the year 2020 – there is a real need for a model to be established in selective elections. which is safe, “said the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Somalia, Nicholas Haysom.
“I am aware that international friends in Somalia have expressed similar hopes and concerns in the November 2016 elections during the parliamentary elections in the country, calling on all the people involved to work together to ensure better results. ”

The South West parliament is expected to hold a presidential election on 17 November. Similar elections will take place in the Puntland State of Somalia and Jubaland in 2019.
